Irish Arabs

Just a quick note; my two brothers Jonny and Dave are taking part in the Irish Scally Rally in September to help raise some much needed funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. They’re driving a 1000 mile route from Belfast to Cork in a banger bought for £100. Here’s the story:

Ok, a 1000 miles drive is easy in a nice reliable modern car, except we dont have a nice reliable modern car! We have a car that cost £100, which is the maximum in accordance with the rally rules. Plus we have the added disadvantage of it being an Alfa Romeo, not very highly rated for reliability, as a matter of fact this particular model (The 164) is known by firemen as being very good at setting itself on fire! So we are sure up for the challenge and a bit of fun as we will be the ones dressed as Arabs, just like our mascot (right). You can help by donating now! All money donated goes to Marie Curie cancer care, A very worthwile cause for your hard earned cash.

Undoubtedly the car will break down or burst into flames at some point, so the lads will be packing the boot with enough tools to fill a Big Brother house (tish!)- so help them out with a couple quid if you can. Go on, donate and feel smug. Now make yourself a nice cup of tea, you lovely person you.
