No Clarity episode #1 is now online! The show features some of the cream of contemporary Irish music, including tracks from Cutaways, The Things, Large Mound, Channel One, Super Extra Bonus Party and Cashier No9.
I also got to talk with Hugh from Large Mound to find out what is happening with the band after the recent release of their third album, My Whole Life Is Have To. Click below for your listening pleasure.

Hooray! Excellent podcast. Loads of great stuff here. Never heard Cutaways before, great to hear some Belfast stuff.
Keep ‘em coming!

And that cashier no9 track is the definite stand out number on it. Lovely stuff, loving the guitar sound and your man’s voice. V good, v good.

Hey Aoife, been listening to your podcasts a while, love it! The MJEX one is really great.
I’ve got so many great artists to play in next couple weeks, but Danny’s stuff is too good to have left off the first episode.
I’m sure he’s busy with Alloy Mental but I hope he gets out touring at some point with cashier material

Cool! Thanks for the nice comments about mjex, they were real gents. I enjoyed that one.
I got my grubby paws on some cashier mp3s so I’ll be playing his stuff on the show definitely. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Looking forward to the next podcast.

Nice to see a decent, interesting, professional sounding (hopefully) regularly updated podcast about unsigned Irish music. I’d been looking for one for ages since Futureless.org stopped broadcasting. It’s on me reader and I’ll be listening to ep 2. tonight!

thanks Chris – it’ll be once a week, just don’t hold me to a set day and we can call it regular!
I used to listen to Futureless, and phantom podcasts, but I don’t think they continue them since they got the fulltime FM
